Students of the Academy-winners of the competition of presentations in English

On April 15, 2021, the IX International Presentation Competition was held "Leaders of a New World: the Skills, Vision, and Mindset of Change", organized by the Department of Pedagogy, Intercultural Communication and Russian as a Foreign Language with the support of the University Texas A&M University Texarkana (The USA).

This year, the event was held remotely.

Students of all bachelor's, specialist's and master's courses, students of secondary vocational education institutions, as well as schoolchildren were invited to participate.

The competition was held in the form of an online performance with a presentation on the Zoom platform, as well as in the form of posting a pre-prepared creative video on a YouTube channel.

Also, everyone could join the broadcast as listeners.

At the competition, you had to submit your research project in English.

Togliatti Academy of Management was represented by 3 teams:

1. 1st year students: Eroslaeva Polina Olegovna (training area - "Design"), Kryukova Sofiya Maksimovna (course of study - "Economics"),Ulyana Andreevna Rasskalieva (training course — "Economics") presented a video on YouTube
2. 2nd year students: Maksim Sergeevich Maskeev (course of study - "Applied Informatics"),Musaev Dan Shukhratovich (training area — "Economics") presented a Zoom presentation
3. 3rd year student — Diana Bakhareva Sergeevna (training area — "Advertising and public relations") presented a video on Youtube

Scientific supervisor - Ekaterina Dmitrievna. Kachura, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.

The presentations were evaluated by the heads of international companies and university professors from Russia, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

According to the results of the competition, the TAU team: Eroslaeva Polina Olegovna, Kryukova Sofia Maksimovna, Rasskalieva Ulyana Andreevna took the second place in the category "VIDEO ON YouTube" in the section "leaders of the New World 2".

The works were evaluated according to four criteria:

• · informative content (availability of new, interesting and useful information relevant to the contest topic);
• · structure (logical sections, coherence and clarity of presentation);
• · public speaking skills and interaction with the audience;
