The first graduating class of TAoM Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was held. 10 business projects were presented at the defense of the graduation works of the program students.
The list of 500 persons included in the management personnel reserve under the patronage of the President of Russia has been published. This list includes two graduates of the Togliatti Academy of Managment: Sofia Malyavina and Nokolay Kuteev.

The Academy receives the License of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for the right to conduct educational activties in the field of higher professional education No. 6336 dated March 10, 2006. Certificate oi the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation on state accreditation of the Togliatti Academy of Management No. 0010 dated March 20, 2006. Accredited specialties: «Organization Management», «Finance ang Gredit», «Design», «Applied Informatics», «Law», «Public Relations» and «Accounting and Audit», a license for MBA program was obtained. A certificate of state accreditation was also obtained, which confirms TAoM’s right to issue state diplomas.
The TAoM took the first place in the ranking in the «Management» direction in terms of protessional potential of graduates and was among the best universities in terms of professional training. This rating was compiled by the independent raing agency «Reitor» based on the results of the sociological research «System of public assessments of professional qualities of graduates of Volga region universites as applicants in the labor market».
On December 13 the Togliatti Academy of Management was recognized as compliant with ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems standard.
The Academy receives three state orders from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation: For the development of the system of additional professional education, For the development of the management system of an innovative educational institution; For the training of managerial personnel in information technologies for the Russian Federation.
