1991 Foundation — Bank College was founded by the “AVTOVAZBANK” commercial bank (Russian commercial bank, focused on providing retail and corporate banking products and services at its domestic market to individuals and legal entities and internationally via its Cyprus branch)

1993 — International institute of Business and Banking (Los-Angeles, USA) joined as a co-founder

1993 System of continuous training — International Academy of Business and Banking was established as a system of continuous training: kindergarten – secondary school – high school – Center of Professional training

1995 Accreditation — Bank College was accredited by Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges (USA)

1996 Board of Trustees — the new Board of Trustees: Administration of Samara region, City Council of Togliatti, AVTOVAZ plant, the Centre of Strategic Research in Volga Federal district

1996 Membership — Academy is the member of Russian Association of Business education (internationally known as RABE, the national alliance of business schools, corporate universities, training centres and professional associations)

2000 Membership — Academy becomes the member of AACSB International (global business education network and association)

2000 — Doctoral program was opened

2001 Renaming — International Academy of Business and Banking was renamed into Togliatti Academy of Management

2006 1st place in the ranking in “Management” discipline — Academy got the 1st place in the ranking of Professional potential of graduates in “Management“ discipline and was among the best high schools in the Volga region due to the level of professional training (study made by the ReitOR independent rating agency)

2006 Certification by DNV — Academy was certified by DNV Business Assurance, Management System Certificate No. 66415 -2009- AQ-MCW-FINAS

2006 — The Togliatti Academy of Management was recognized as compliant with the ISO 9001: 2000 quality management system standard

2007 Certification by IES — Academy was certified by International Education Society, Ltd (London, UK)

2009 5th place in the ranking of private higher educational institutions — Academy got the 5th place in the ranking of Russian private higher educational institutions — “The development of Information and Communication technologies in high school” (study made by the ReitOR independent rating agency and Career magazine)

2011 Cooperation with science park — the Memorandum of understanding was signed between Togliatti Academy of Management and “Zhiguli Valley” science park for collaboration in IT sphere

2012 State-funded education — State-funded education (a form of education in a higher educational institution, in which a student’s studies are paid at the expense of the state budget) was offered for the enrollment in the Academy 

2012 Climbing - A group of graduates of the Togliatti Academy of Management consisting of Olga Nesterova, Nikolay Kuteev, Artem Volkov, Artem Chertishchev, Olga Shishkanova, Artem Neverov and Alexey Dusharin climbed the highest peak of the Andes and all of South America - Mount Aconcagua (elevation 6960 m)

2013 — the Academy is among 134 experimental Russian high schools chosen in the competition for providing the government support for the privileged education credit

2015 Cooperation — Togliatti Academy of Management began cooperation with the Russian-British Institute of Management (Chelyabinsk) in the framework of design and analytical sessions

2015 Book release — the book «Methodological School of Management» by TAOM management team (Andrey Reus, Alexander Zinchenko, Svetlana Kraychinskaya et al.), Victor Khristenko, former Chairman of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Daniil Talyansky, TAOM graduate, took the 4th place in British Management Book of the Year award

2016 Included in the top group of Institutions’ rating - The Togliatti Academy of Management was included in the top group of the rating of the Association of Non-State Higher Education Institutions of Russia (ANVUZ) of private higher educational institutions of the country

2016 —  The Togliatti Academy of Management has successfully passed the recertification audit of the quality management system. The audit was conducted by one of the world's largest classification societies DNV GL

2016 January 17 Togliatti Academy of Management celebrated its 25 years

2017 Included in the top group of Institutions’ rating - The Togliatti Academy of Management was included in the top group of the rating of the Association of Non-State Higher Education Institutions of Russia (ANVUZ) of private higher educational institutions of the country

2019 January 17 Togliatti Academy of Management celebrated its 28 years
